Family Math & Game Nights

Our Family Math and Game Nights are the most popular event that Learning Gizmos offers each school year. We host over 100 Game Nights each season and for the schools unable to get on our calendar, we assist them with hosting their own without us.

Our Game Nights are the perfect way to bring families together and make parental involvement a reality at your school. Parents and students will see how games can be used to reinforce critical skills-all without opening a textbook

What happens?

Representatives from Learning Gizmos come to your school with the best (and most fun) educational games. We teach the games to 12-15 teacher/adult volunteers, then the families arrive for a night of fun!

Why do it?

A Math or Game Night is not only a perfect school-wide event, it is a great way to get parents involved in the educational process. Our events can be an exciting Title 1 opportunity.

What is the cost?

This fabulous event is only $125, plus a nominal mileage charge based on the distance from our store in Warren. Schools that are more than 40 miles away will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Learning Gizmos personnel are only available for Family Math & Game Nights in Metro Detroit area.

We are happy to offer our exclusive Family Math Night and Family Game Night Kits to schools which are out of our immediate area. These kits come complete with games and instructions for organizing your own event. Please get in touch with Nancy Korte for more information.

Title I Eligibility

Family Math & Game Nights may be covered by Title I funds. Contact us to find out more about registering your school’s event as a Title I activity.

Private Shopping Day

Are you someone who loves to be first to the cool stuff? We invite you to a private shopping day where you get exclusive access to our entire store inventory through our P.S.D (Private Shopping Day) program!

School Administrators!

Do you want to save money, promote good-will and support a local business? Our Private Shopping Day makes this easy for you!

The program begins with a memorable shopping experience where your staff has EXCLUSIVE access to our store. We open the store early, so your staff will have the entire store to themselves! They will enjoy nearly 6,000 square feet of retail space devoted to teacher essentials. On the day of the event, every item your teachers select will be 10% OFF* our regular prices!

Shoppers will be treated with a bag of delicious snacks to help them recover from their wonderful shopping extravaganza!
